We are a 100% volunteer run non-profit organization with over 1000 players. We need many volunteers annually for our U6 to U19 recreational and competitive programs. New coaches, referees, and board members are encouraged to come out and support our kids in the Mountain View and Los Altos community. Parents and family members are what makes this program world class! The AYSO Region 45 Board is seeking many volunteer positions that are not on the field.
During player registration, please sign up for a volunteer role. You can also email [email protected] to learn more! Roles are described on this website and divided into 3 groups:
o TEAM ROLES - Coach and Referee are the main team roles. There are many other team roles that are of great value in less time commitment.
o DC AND REGION ROLES - DC is the division coordinator and is a significant role that can be done in non-work hours. There are several other valuable region roles.
o BOARD MEMBER ROLES - Board roles are official AYSO defined roles for the region. There are different levels of effort for the various roles.
We are always in need of coach and referee volunteers and this is a rewarding way to give back to the community and interact with an outstanding group of players. If you are ready to do this, please add yourself as a volunteer when you register your player or afterwards in your login account.
o If you're not willing or able to coach or referee, there are other roles you can do including team parent, snacks, photo day coordination for your team. Please volunteer during your player registration or with your coach once you receive the email that your player is on a team sometime in mid to late August.
o You can also help with league-wide activities such as field line painting, uniform coordination, and other board-level roles. Please email [email protected] to offer your services and/or volunteer for specific league roles when you register your player.
The operation of our region involves many behind-the-scenes volunteers who work hard during the offseason and during the season to make it happen.
